Gallery K was the proud host of this weekends Louisville Photo Biennial starring local standout photographer, DeArejon White. Not only did this premier feature stunning black and white photography, it came with a purpose. . .
In a collaborative effort with his daughter, DeArejon looked to build upon his art by asking those who attended to bring in shoes to donate to the homeless . With DeArejon himself donating his proceeds.
To say the show was a success would be an under statement. Close to 100 guests packed Gallery K and the premier nearly sold out in a matter of hours.
We would like to thank DeArejon and his crew for providing Butchertown with their art. And a big shout out to Paul Paletti of the Louisville Photo Biennial.
